The state ECCS advisory group is comprised of state-level early childhood experts and key stakeholders who bring unique knowledge and skills to the project. The primary role of the advisory group is to offer guidance and support to the Florida ECCS teams at the state and local levels and make recommendations for policy changes. The state ECCS advisory group includes representatives from the following organizations: Florida Department of Children & Families, Florida Office of Early Learning, University of South Florida College of Public Health, Dept. of Community & Family Health, Help Me Grow Florida, A Family Network on Disabilities, FSU Center for Prevention and Early Intervention Policy, Head Start Collaboration Office, Miami Children's Initiative, University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Florida Department of Health, Early Steps State Office (Part C), Department of Children and Families Office of Child Care Regulation, Florida Department of Health Maternal and Child Health, Association of Early Learning Coalitions, Ounce of Prevention Fund of FL/ Florida Children's Initiatives, and Executive Office of the Governor.

The Florida ECCS Impact State Improvement team, supported by Florida MIECHV and ECCS project staff, will catalogue gaps and barriers to improving linkages between home visiting and early learning, and develop strategies to address them. The State Improvement team is a subset of the larger ECCS Advisory Group. The state team meets monthly and the advisory group meets bimonthly.
